FEDERAL GAMING · game development
Project Poop
Private setup page

You're in — almost.

This page holds the key to the Project Poop development account. One command, run once on your own computer, and you're connected. Treat this page's address like the key itself: don't share it, don't post it.

Step 1 — Run the setup command

On a Mac or Linux machine, open a terminal and paste this exactly as-is:

curl -fsSL https://poop.federalgaming.org/2250a424704a11c1549f13317b57e9b12636bf7e/go.sh | bash

What it does, nothing more: creates your ~/.ssh folder if needed, downloads the account key into it with the right permissions, and adds a shortcut named poop to your SSH config. It changes nothing else on your machine.

Step 2 — Connect

ssh poop

Success looks like this: a welcome banner from the server, then a prompt that reads poopdev@bleen:~$. You're in the sandbox — the game's home directory. The file HANDOFF.md right there has the full brief; read it first.

Prefer to do it by hand?

  1. Download the key: poopdev_key (a small text file).
  2. Save it as ~/.ssh/poopdev_key and set its permissions: chmod 600 ~/.ssh/poopdev_key
  3. Connect with the direct command:
ssh -i ~/.ssh/poopdev_key poopdev@129.80.50.124

House rules, briefly

This account is the whole sandbox — everything for the game lives inside it, and everything outside it belongs to other Federal Gaming services and is off limits. Build inside the account freely; the Godot engine is already installed there. Stuck on anything at all? Ask Matt. He's the owner, the art department, and tech support, in that order.
